This eight session series (90 minutes each) explains the 20 spiritual gifts identified in Romans, I Corinthians and Ephesians.  The gifts are given to the church, and each Christian is given spiritual gifts to use in service to build up the body of Christ.  This course includes a series of individual and group activities to help each member identify his spiritual gifts.  One of these activites is the Haugk spiritual gifts inventory and other activities include reflection and discussion of each person's goals, achievements, interests and role models.  Taken together, these eight weeks result in an understanding of the gifts we have received, what they mean and how they can be shared for the benefit of the entire church.

The course materials include a leader's guide with completely scripted lesson plans for each session.  The guide is easy to understand and easy to use.

• "The Part of Tens" is a list of resources - prayers for the times you need them most, prayers for children, retreats and pilgrimages and useful web sites.

The book does not include a study guide or leader's guide.  The material makes for easy reading, and if group members read the material before hand, it makes for good discussion.
